The Doctor Catherine Hartley Memorial H.O.P.E. Fund Can Always Use Your Help!
The H.O.P.E. Fund, designed by VERGI 24/7 in memory of Doctor Catherine Hartley, is based on donations from our clients and others who share our mission to help pets in need. It’s used, on a case-by-case basis, to aid emergency and critical care clients in pursuing treatment that might otherwise be unaffordable for their beloved pet. Unfortunately, the funds are based on your donations and it is not always possible to provide maximum treatment to every indigent case that comes into our hospital. However, through your generous donations, we have found that it does help the client pursue modest treatment until further decisions can be reached or arrangements made with their regular DVM. The ultimate goal of the H.O.P.E fund is to try and avoid euthanasia’s that may occur due to a family or rescue group’s financial constraints.
For example, your contributions to the whole fund can provide pain medications to the signees with cancer, the Labrador that was hit by a car, the schnauzer with pancreatitis, fluids for the tabby in kidney failure, insulin to the diabetic Pomeranian and life-saving antihistamines to the boxer stung by a wasp. The best part is, donations can be designated to a specific case or to the fund in general in memory of a special friend.
All we ask is to help if you can and please give a sick pet a little hope.
Thank you for your continued support and together we can save lives!
